PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple disc clutch capable of fixing a position of an energy accumulator in the clutch by a simple method without impairing a force characteristic of the energy accumulator. SOLUTION: This multiple disc clutch has a housing having a toothed ring 16 having plural disc accompanying teeth 24 dispersively arranged in the circumferential direction on the inner peripheral surface 22, at least a single outside disc 28 for engaging with the disc accompanying teeth 24 in the toothed ring 16 by the outside meshing part 26, at least a single inside disc 36 rotatably fixed/connected to a clutch hub 38, a pressing-down plate 30 and an energy accumulator 34. In that case, the energy accumulator 34 has in an outer peripheral area 46 a recessed place 52 substantially opening outward in the radial direction by being oppositely arranged in at least a single disc accompanying tooth 24 so that the disc accompanying tooth 24 engages with the recessed place 52. |
