PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a polycarbonate resin excellent in quality without deteriorated substances by using a specific gear pump for feeding a liquid of a reactional mixture. SOLUTION: When a reactional mixture containing an aromatic diol compound and a carbonic diester compound is polycondensed, a nonpulsating gear pump having >=150 deg.C heat resistance, >=0.1 MPa pressure resistance, >=1 MPa discharging pressure, zero leak rate under a vacuum of <=40,000×10-6 MPa, liquid contact parts thereof composed of a material having the corrosion resistance to the above reactional mixture and a monohydroxy compound prepared by reacting the reactional mixture, capable of taking out the reactional mixture from a tank under the vacuum of <=40,000×10-6 MPa and designed to discharge the reactional mixture in order to lubricate the contact parts of gear 8 and 9 and shafts 6 and 7 with other members to the outside of the pump without returning the reactional mixture again into the product is used as the pump for feeding the liquid of the reactional mixture.
