PURPOSE: A burner having a cooking function part is provided to operate the heating control for cooking according to the judged consequences by automatically judging the amount of rice to be cooked. CONSTITUTION: The burner having a cooking function part installs:a control unit for controlling the heating power of a heating piece; an indicating piece for indicating the position decision of the control unit on a cooking position; a detecting piece for outputting the signal of the position decision if the control unit is decided on the cooking position; and a control device for operating the control action caused by the cooking control unit according to the output from the detecting piece.
