PURPOSE: A flow measuring device is provided to measure an amount of water flowing in a water dividing chamber of a water divider with a great high speed and correctly measure flow in the water divider installed in a paper-making machine. CONSTITUTION: A measuring vessel(6) comprising an inflow unit(7) and a measuring unit(8) is installed in a water dividing chamber of a water divider having an inflow pipe(2), an air exhausting pipe(3), and a water collector for collecting water flowing in through the inflow pipe(2). The water measured in the vessel(6) is exhausted from the measuring unit(8) through a space of the chamber via a water exhausting pipe.
