PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit any segment tire to a rim by forming the outer surface of the rim into regular polygonal sides, and fitting segment tires to the sides in a tire fitted with the segment tires to the outer surface of the rim. SOLUTION: This segment tire rim 1 is formed with regular polygonal sides 2 with six outer surface angles, and one segment tire 10 is fitted to each side 2. The segment tire 10 has a structure covered with a mandrel 11 on the rim 1 side by a rubber elastic body 12, and it is fixed to the rim 1 by a bolt 13 erected on the mandrel 11. One or a plurality of segment tires 10 are fitted to the regular polygonal sides 2, and the peripheral length of the sides 2 is set to integer times the width of the segment tire 10. This tire satisfies the relation: tan (180/N)=L/(R-t), where 2L is the length of the bottom face of the segment 10 (≈length of the side 2), 2θis the angle from the center (360/number of angles), (t)is the thickness of the segment 10, R is the outer diameter of the segment 10, and N is the number of angles.
