PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a disk pad in which the peripheral part of a frictional member hardly breaks or uneven wears, in a disk pad for a vehicles. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a disk pad supplies a back plate and the material of a frictional member among a plurality of metal molds, and compresses and heats the material of the frictional member to fix to the back plate. A back plate assembly 11 in a united shape, in which an even number back plates are arranged symmetrically on both sides of a center line (a), is used instead of the back plate. After forming a disk pad assembly by fixing a frictional member assembly 12 in a united shape to the back plate assembly, the disk pad assembly is cut off at the center line (a) to form a plurality of disk pads.
