PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bright and warm multi-purpose living space withstanding fallen snow in winter by arranging translucent plates on wall face sections facing the outdoor side of a sunroom communicated with a living room, and providing a roof covering the whole upper section. SOLUTION: Translucent plates 28 made of a glass board or a translucent resin board such as acrylic are spread nearly in the vertical direction over nearly the whole face of only wall face sections 26, 27 facing the outdoor side to provide a sunroom 2 as a closed space. A living room 3 is provided adjacently to the depth side of the sunroom 2, and the sunroom 2 and the living room 3 are communicated with each other via a rotary door 4. A roof having sufficient strength is provided on the sunroom 2 to cover the whole upper section. A bright and warm living space capable of being utilized for many purposes and withstanding a fallen snow load in winter at a cold district can be obtained.
