PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for preventing inflow of a jellyfish which is effective particularly for a large-sized intake having a long opening part and enables simplification of structures of a foundation pile and a support frame, reduction of the cost and improvement of the operability. SOLUTION: Equipment for preventing inflow of a jellyfish having a constitution wherein a net 6 for preventing inflow of the jellyfish is provided at an intake of seawater and the jellyfish is removed from the surface of the net 6 by a water stream. A foundation pile 10 is driven in at the middle position in the longitudinal direction of the intake 3 and a support frame 11 is mounted on the foundation pile 10, while a propeller type water stream generating device 7 having propeller main bodies 12 disposed opposite in reverse directions on the opposite sides of the support frame 11 is mounted. In this constitution, the water stream is sent from the water stream generating device 7 toward the opposite end parts of the net 6 for preventing inflow of the jellyfish.
