PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress which can be easily decomposed when it is discarded. SOLUTION: In a mattress 1 provided with a spring unit 2 consisting of a plurality of coil springs 2a and a pair of sheets 3 and 4 placing the spring unit 2 between them from the up and down direction to the elastic direction, the sheets 3 and 4 and the spring unit 2 are assembled by fitting the end parts of the coil springs 2a into the sheets 3 and 4.
