PURPOSE: The fiber composition is provided which consolidates a wet fiber material such as a glass fiber. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises branched or nonbranched carboxylic acid vinyl ester such as vinyl acetate having 1- 12 of carbon atoms, polymer powder comprises mainly polyvinyl alcohol stabilized more than 1 kind of polymer selected from aromatic vinyl complexes such as styrene, methyl styrene, vinyl toluene, vinyl halides such as vinylchloride, olefins such as ethylene, propylene and dienes such as 1,3-butadiene and isoprene, solid inorganic compounds at room temperature(23 degree C) having a chemical bond with hydroxy group of polyvinyl alcohol in water.
