SMART CARD PERSONALIZING SYSTEM AND APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A data carrier issuing method is provided to apply an interface to any card issuer management system and support important management and reporting functions by maintaining statistics about real-time and off-line queries. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of obtaining a personalizing device recognizer and personal data about a person having a card from a card issuer management system, obtaining device characteristic data about a personal device shape from a record in database recognized by the recognizer, and transmitting the personalizing data to the personal device appointed by the device characteristic data to issue the data carrier.
