PURPOSE: A telephone number book management method is provided to conveniently manage a telephone number book registered in the cellular radio terminal by using a personal computer. CONSTITUTION: A telephone number book management method enters a data transmitting/receiving mode if an external device connection is sensed at a communication port of the radio terminal. If the telephone number book management command data is received, the telephone number book management method transmits a predetermined response data and a registered telephone number data, and enters a telephone number book management mode. If the telephone number book management mode state is made, the telephone number book management method performs a telephone number book management operation under the control of the computer.
