PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a yarn of modified shape maintaining stable qualities in a continuous production, useful for an air-permeable woven fabric, reinforcing cement, etc., by constituting a filament body in which specific parallel yarns are integrated by mutually forming connection parts at proper intervals in the yarn length direction. SOLUTION: This yarn is parallel yarns of plural filaments 2 spun from a thermoplastic resin such as a polypropylene-based resin, etc., having >=0.95 isotactic pendant ratio and 0.1-50 g/10 minutes melt flow rate. Preferably the parallel yarns comprise a filament body integrated by mutually forming connection parts 3 at proper intervals in the yarn length direction. The yarn 1 of modified shape is cut and made into staple in a state of the parallel yarns having the plural connection parts 3 as they are and used for reinforcing cement, etc. |
