PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating mold capable of stably performing the centrifugal molding of an endless belt of high quality by a simple process. SOLUTION: An inorg. silicon film is formed to a mold inner surface by DVD as a release film for easily releasing a centrifugally molded endless belt from the mold inner surface to form a coating mold 1. In an embodiment, a cylindrical mold made of aluminum is introduced into a vacuum molding tank and once evacuated while heated to 300 deg.C to be held to this temp. and, thereafter, a silane gas is allowed to gradually flow in the cylindrical mold to form a silicon film on the mold inner surface. When a polyimide endless belt 3 is produced by using the coating mold, the endless belt can be easily released from the release film 2 of the coating mold 1 and the release film 2 is held to a state before use while strongly bonded to the mold inner surface. |
