PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master-slave type endoscope enabling master-slave type endoscopic observation to be performed easily while preventing a slave scope from being swayed when a master scope is rotated, and allowing an operator to easily operate the master scope and the slave scope by himself when necessary. SOLUTION: In a master-slave type endoscope in which a guide channel 14 disposed through the overall length of a insertion portion 11 of a master scope 10 in order to pass a slave scope 30 therethrough has its exit 14a provided at a distal end of the insertion portion 11 of the master scope 10 while the entrance 14b of the guide channel 14 is provided at a handle 12 of the master scope 10 connected to the base end of the insertion portion 11, the entrance 14b of the guide channel 14 is arranged so that its axis is located on approximately the extension of the axis of the base end portion of the insertion portion 11 of the master scope 10.
