PURPOSE: A method is provided to perform a discovery operation in a distributed computing enterprises environment managed by plural machines. CONSTITUTION: The discovery method comprises arranging an example of a runtime engine through a subset of a machine for producing distributed runtime environment in a distribution computer network, wherein the distribution computer network has a management server servicing a set of the machine; arranging a discovery agent to the computer network from a source in response to a given generation; and performing the discovery agent by use of the runtime engine to perform a discovery operation in a given machine supporting the example of the runtime engine.
