OPTIC FIBER CONNECTOR

摘要

PURPOSE: The optic fiber connector is provided to adapt for narrow pitch or multi optic fiber connector by protecting an optic fiber although when the optic fiber is unconnected. CONSTITUTION: In optic fiber connector(1), an outer member(2) holds a part of optic fiber separated from connecting section of the optic fiber which is capable of connecting with that of a corresponding optic fiber. An arrangement member(3) is hold by the outer member for moving along the optic fiber. The arrangement member decides a location of the connecting section of the optic fiber. The arrangement member is compressed by a spring(5) to the direction of projection from the outer member. When the optic fiber is connected with the corresponding optic fiber, the arrangement member moves to the opposite direction against the direction of the compressed spring(5), makes the connecting section projected from the arrangement member.
