PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device, in which the structure of a device body section is simplified and which can be incorporated into an expansion member compactly while manufacturing cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the locking device for the expansion member comprising both members of one members 4 and the other members 5 mutually connected in an expansible manner, racks 9 are mounted on one members 4, frames 10 are installed to the other members 5, stoppers 12 having engaging teeth 11 engaged with racks 9 in a freely engaging-disengaging manner are attached pivotally to the frames 10, and rotary operating bodies 15 having cams 14 for holding the stoppers 12 at the places of locking and the places of the release of locking respectively by engagement with the required sections 12a, 12b of the stoppers 12 by a rotary motion are fitted pivotally to the frames 10. |
