PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish the weak acidity preservation with high laundry fastness of a liquid-absorbable skin contact processed textile product by bearing a weakly acidic plant extract liquid on e.g. a hydrolyzed silk solution as support followed by impregnating the above textile product with the above-mentioned solution to effect setting the solution onto the textile product. SOLUTION: A liquid-absorbable skin contact processed textile product is preserved at weakly acidic levels according to the procedure wherein a weakly acidic plant extract liquid of pH 3.7-4.8 such as bamboo vinegar is borne on a hydrolyzed silk solution, collagen solution of gelatin solution as a sustained releasing support followed by impregnating the above textile product such as one of various kinds of underwear coming into direct contact with the skin with the above-mentioned solution and subsequently immersing the resultant textile product in tannic acid, citric acid, acetic acid or a mixture thereof (pH 3-3.7) incorporated with a mixed emulsion of a hydrophilic polyvinyl alcohol and an acrylic resin to effect insolubilizing the above solution and setting it onto the textile product. |
