PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily eliminate air bubbles generated in an ink path by arranging a collection part of a filter member to pass a liquid from a direction opposite to a direction of a gravity acting to the liquid when the liquid in a liquid discharge part circulates in one direction through a first and a second paths. SOLUTION: When an ink INK passes a filter member 56 from a direction opposite to a direction of a gravity acting to the ink INK, a direction in which air bubbles Af and Ae generated in the ink INK rise because of a specific gravity difference between the air bubbles Af and Ae and the ink INK and a buoyancy acting to the air bubbles Af and Ae agree with the flow direction of the ink INK. Therefore, the air bubbles Ae and Af in the ink INK are easily separated from the filter member 56, not staying at a filter member storage chamber 50 h, and moved by the ink INK. The air bubbles generated in an ink path can be easily eliminated from the vicinity of the filter member arranged in the ink path. |
