摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize an existing single seat slide mechanism by providing a resistance applying means applying a resistance load to the backward movement of a seat, and releasing the lock of a seat slide mechanism at the time of a rear end collision or when the rear end collision is estimated. SOLUTION: A resistance applying means D1 applying a resistance load to the backward movement of a seat 13 is provided. One end 23a of a damper 23 is fitted to a cross member 2 on the floor 1 side, and the other end 23b is fitted to a bracket 24 on the lower face of a seat cushion frame 12 on the seat 13 side to form the resistance applying means D1. When a rear end collision is estimated, the lock of a seat slide mechanism 6 is released to allow the backward movement of the seat 13, and the resistance applying means D1 is operated to apply a resistance load to the backward movement of the seat 13. The burden occurring on the cervical vertebra of an occupant at the time of the rear end collision can be prevented by effectively utilizing the existing single seat slide mechanism 6.
