METHOD FOR CORRECTING JUNCTION OF STEEL BEAM TO EXISTING STEEL COLUMN, AND CORRECTING TOOL THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient correcting tool enabling a steel beam to be rapidly and accurately joined between opposite attached fixed beams overhanging from an existing steel column. SOLUTION: One end of a first link arm 23 is pivotally attached to one end of a fixed arm 16 by a first rotary fulcrum pin 25 and one end of a second link arm 29 is pivotally attached to the other end of the first link arm 23 by a second rotary fulcrum pin 31. The arms are framed into an entirely triangular shape on plan view of the type in which a mounting threaded shaft 32 forming the other end of the second link arm 29 approaches a mounting threaded shaft 18 forming the other end of the fixed arm 16, and the mid portions of the fixed arm 16 and the first link arm 23 are pivotally connected together by a hydraulic jack 39. A manually operated hydraulic pump 46 actuates the hydraulic jack 39 for expansion and contraction.
