PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded part which has a substantially sufficient strength wherein the safety and the odor have been improved, and a molding material composition suitable for obtaining this molded part. SOLUTION: A molding material composition is obtained by mixing a fiber base material (A), a resin having a carboxyl group (B) and an epoxy compound (C). In a preparation process of a molding material composition, a fiber base material (A), a resin having a carboxyl group (B) and an epoxy compound (C) are mixed when preparing a molded part. A molded part is obtained by molding the molding material composition.
