PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a situation in a virtual space in a game to match the reality by taking various data into the game. SOLUTION: A portable data storage device 10 has sensors built therein and is mounted on an arm of a player having a data accumulating function to periodically detect and store various data. Data accumulated in the portable data storage device 10 are transmitted to a receiver 35 of a TV game apparatus 11 from a transmitter 30 for indoor communication or to the TV game apparatus 11 from a communication circuit using a portable telephone set 31 for outdoor communication. In the TV game apparatus 11, various data of reality supplied from the portable type data memory device 10 are reflected on a virtual space on a game to allow simulation of a virtual world which is actually experienced by the player himself.
