<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring the quantity of collected particulates by which the clogged state of a particulate filter, that is, the quantity of collected particulates can be accurately measured. SOLUTION: This device for measuring the quantity of collected particulates, by which the quantity of particulates collected by a particulate filter 6 for removing particulates contained in waste gas is measured, is provided with a revolution detecting sensor 16 for detecting the revolution of a diesel engine 2, an exhaust pressure detecting sensor 18 for detecting the exhaust pressure of an exhaust route 4, and a collected-quantity estimating means for estimating the quantity of particulates collected by the particulate filter 6. The collected- quantity estimating means estimates the quantity of particulates collected by the particulate filter 6 based on both the number of the revolutions at the time when the revolution of the engine 2 is changed from a fall to a rise and the minimum of the exhaust pressure to a prescribed time from that time.</p> |
