PURPOSE: An apparatus for limiting a watch of television program is provided to selectively limit the watch of the television program. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a V-chip mounted system controller(23). The V-chip mounted system controller(23) controls the entire of a television system and outputs a display control signal according to the V-chip program degree. A remote controller(24) remotely inputs a user's selection signal containing the program watch limit. By controlling with V-chip mounted system controller(23), a video signal is selectively switched to provide the switched video signal or the video signal is not provided. Thereby, it is possible to limit the watch of a television program.
