ANTI-HIV COMPOSITION CONTAINING IMIDAZOLE DERIVATIVES

PURPOSE: Pharmaceutical compositions with more than 2 kinds of anti-HIV compounds are provided. CONSTITUTION: Anti-HIV compositions contains the following materials:2-carbamoyloxymethyl-5(3,5-dichlorophenylthio)-4-isopropyl-1-(pyridin-4-yl)methyl-1H imidazoles or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and one or more substances exhibiting an anti-activity as the active ingredients. Figure1 shows interrelations as to anti-HIV compound concentration against CEM cell in terms of toxicity. Strong increase effect in activity is shown while in toxicity is not shown when anti-HIV compositions are compared with each independent injection of anti-HIV compounds.
