PURPOSE: An absorbent article is provided to control liquid from urination position regardless of the position or movements of the wearer. CONSTITUTION: An absorbent article comprises; a substantially liquid permeable backsheet layer; an absorption assembly arranged on the backsheet layer; a garment shell which is combined to the backsheet layer and is positioned between the backsheet layer and the absorption assembly; liquid control member having an elasticity bandwidth arranged between a first and a second waste band area. The elasticity bandwidth of liquid control member is adapted to shrinking more than about 10% of height. The liquid control member comprises liquid permeable liquid processing layer substantially directly contacting with liquid and is adapted to drain liquid to the absorption assembly through liquid processing layer. At least one elasticity member is positioned between liquid processing layer and body side layer.
