PURPOSE: A purifying method and apparatus of filthy, waste water are provided to prevent the water pollution by giving the reliable purifying effect with low processing expenses. CONSTITUTION: A purifying method has the steps of: filtering the foreign materials deposited in dirty, waste water using sand having large particle(about 1-2mm); refiltering the foreign materials that unfiltered in the step of large sand filtering process using smaller particle(about 0.5-0.1mm) compared to the large sand; removing the bacillus that remains in the dirty, waste water, finally filtering the foreign materials by powdering the particle of coal.
