PURPOSE: A motor control device of a drilling ship is provided to easily control a top drive motor and to improve productivity. CONSTITUTION: The motor control device of a drilling ship is installed with:a first transformer(100) for decompressing the alternating power of high voltage; a first variable control panel unit(200) for switching-transforming the decompressed alternating power to a direct and an alternating current power; a first mud pump motor(610) operated by the switching control of the first variable control panel unit; a second transformer(300) for decompressing a second mud pump motor(620), a top drive motor(630), and the alternating power of the high voltage; a second variable control panel(400) for switching-transforming the decompressed alternating power to the direct and the alternating current powers; a third and a fourth mud pump motors(640,650) operated by the switching control of the second variable control panel unit.
