METHOD FOR DETECTING UNUSUAL WAVEFORM

PURPOSE: The method is to define the user controlled unusual waveform for an oscilloscope to automatically execute detection of waveform to define and detect the unusual waveform acquired by a digital oscilloscope. CONSTITUTION: The method for automatically detecting the unusual waveform while monitoring electric signal generally repeated by a digital oscilloscope includes the stages of; determining the number of new pixels treated for respective waveform rasterization; comparing the number of "new" pixels with new threshold value of pixel; classifying the rasterized waveform as a regular waveform if the determined number of pixels is smaller than the new threshold value of the pixel or classifying the rasterized waveform as an unusual waveform if the number of pixels is larger than the threshold value.
