PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve the impact on hands in case of a miss in hitting a ball and to prevent damage of hands by forming recessed parts or projecting parts to the inside surface of a grip for a golf club which is mounted at a club shaft to form a gripping part and bringing the inside surface of the grip and the outside surface of the club shaft into partial contact with each other. SOLUTION: A head is mounted at the front end of the club shaft 2 and the grip 1 is mounted likewise at the rear end, by which the griping part is formed. In the meantime, the plural recessed parts 3 which are semicircular in the cross sections in a longitudinal direction are formed on the inside surface of the grip 1. At this time, the recessed parts 3 act as air chambers. The projecting parts may be formed in place of the recessed parts 3. Further, any among circular, elliptic, rhombic, triangular and rectangular shapes is selected for the plane view shape of the recessed parts 3 of the projecting parts and the depth or height of the recessed parts 3 or the projecting parts is set at >=0.5 mm. The thickness of the grip 1 is set at >=1 mm. As a result, the transmission from the club shaft 3 to the grip 1 is suppressed and a buffer effect is exhibited. |
