摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an overlapping between fuel injection during compression stroke and fuel injection during intake stroke without deteriorating the characteristic of exhaust gas and fuel consumption. SOLUTION: In a fuel injection control method in which fuel is injected into engine cylinders C1 to C4, successively, by injectors through fuel injection during compression stroke or fuel injection during intake stoke, if an initial preparation and drive period D4a for an engine cylinder C4 overlaps with an initial preparation and drive period D3a of injection for an engine cylinder C3 during compression stroke at least in part, the period (t) of injection during intake is shifted so as to be advanced by a timeΔt in order to prevent the initial preparation and drive period D3a for the engine cylinder C3 overlapping with the initial preparation period D4a for the engine cylinder C4. As a result, the injection during intake stroke is carried out at a relatively early stage during the intake stroke, thereby it is possible to sufficiently evaporate fuel injected before ignition.
