PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dispersed azo dye mixture that comprises two kinds of specific azo compounds and can dip-dye and print-dye hydrophobic synthetic materials in dark blue to black. SOLUTION: The objective dye mixture comprises at least one compound represented by formula I (R1 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, a halogen, a 1-4C alkoxy; (n) is 1 or 2; ring A may be substituted, when necessary) and at least one compound represented by formula II [X is a halogen, CN; R2 and R5 are each H, a 1-4 alkyl; R3 and R4 are each a (substituted) 1-4C alkyl, a 2-4C alkenyl]. In a preferred embodiment, this dye mixture contains 10-60 wt.% of the dye mixture and 40-90 wt.% of a dispersant.
