PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the good appearance of a Japanese cypress board with a completely gnarl-free surface to be maintained for a long time and at the same time, utilize a defective glued laminated wood with gnarls and the like as a core to save on a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: Bonded woods obtained by joining the alternately assembled front side and reverse side of wood, bottom end and tip end of a Japanese cypress board with a trapezoidal cross section, are laminated in required plural tiers. These laminated bonded woods are sliced along the side faces on which the lamination lines of the plural tiers appear constantly in the long direction. Thus a decorative board 2 which is gnarl-free and has the lamination line in the fixed direction, is applied to the surfaces of a core 1 which is formed of a glued laminated wood having defects such as the gnarl to obtain the flooring.
