PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device doing no damage to a bed even if a full cut is made while making a reliable half cut. SOLUTION: In a cutting printer 11 having a cutter 43 selectively supported in a half cut position and a full cut position and constituted so that the turning direction of a cutter blade 72 always turns in the direction for cutting machine glazed paper by rotating around the axis when cutting the machine glazed paper, a cutting bed 29 is arranged in a position opposed by sandwiching the cutter 43 and the machine glazed paper, and a long groove 77 opposed to a moving range of the cutter 43 is formed in the cutting head 29 so that an opening width 79 of the long groove 77 becomes a thickness or less of a cutter main body 71 in the turning direction of the cutter blade 43. Thus, the machine glazed paper hardly deflects, so that a half cut can be made in the almost constant cut depth.
