PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compose a harvester with a high torque at a low cost by enabling a power from a speed changing mechanism to be transmitted to a harvest lifting part utilizing a transverse shaft for supporting a frame of the lifted and lowered harvest lifting part. SOLUTION: This harvester is obtained by loading an engine 5 and a speed changing mechanism 6 onto a mobile machine body 2 having a left and a right mobile parts 7, arranging a harvest lifting part 4 for harvesting vegetables A on a ridge N and lifting the harvested vegetables A onto the mobile machine body 2 in a state of a rising rear. The rear of a frame 44 in the harvest lifting part 4 is freely liftably and lowerably connected through a transverse shaft 38 to a vertical supporting unit 39 stood in the rear of the mobile machine body 2 so that the power can be transmitted from the speed changing mechanism 6 through the transverse shaft 38 to the harvest lifting part 4.
