PURPOSE: A front substrate of plasma display panel is provided to improve resolution. CONSTITUTION: The front substrate of plasma display panel comprises: a glass substrate(11); plural discharge sustaining electrodes(13a,13b,13c,13d,13e,13f) formed in prescribed intervals on the glass substrate(11); a dielectric layer(14) coated on the glass substrate(11) to cover the discharge sustaining electrodes(13a,13b,13c,13d,13e,13f); light shutting layers(15a,15b) formed between the discharge sustaining electrodes(13a,13b,13c,13d,13e,13f) and having prescribed polarity in their surfaces; and a protect layer(16) coated on all surface of the dielectric layer(14) to cover the light shutting layers(15a,15b). |
