PURPOSE: The present invention is provided to acquire gene of cytochrome bd type quinol oxidase of Coryneform bacteria. CONSTITUTION: A process for gene coding cytochrome bd type quinol oxidase consisted of synthesizing oligonucleotide by using nucleotide sequence of N-terminal of subunit I, N-terminal of subunit II of cytochrome bd type quinol oxidase of Brevibacterium flavum as a base, obtaining gene coding cytochrome bd type quinol oxidase of B. flavum from chromosome e DNA library Brevibacterium lactofermentum using said amplification piece as probe by PCR(polymerase chain reaction) using said oligonucleotide as primer and chromosome DNA of B. flavum as mold.
