ILLUMINATOR AND DISPLAY UTILIZING THEREOF

PURPOSE: An illuminator and display are to avoid thermal runaway of a heating source and provide small amount of beam of light shielded by the self-heat-generating adjusting type heating sources. CONSTITUTION: Self-heat-generating adjusting type heating sources(7) are provided near light sources(6) and light reflecting layers(8,9) are located between light sources(6) and heating sources(7). A temperature detecting unit nor control circuit is not required for controlling the heating sources(7) because heating sources has a self-heat-generating adjusting type. Therefore, the heating sources(7) do not thermally run away. In addition, the quantity of light intercepted by heating sources(7) is reduced, because light emitted from light sources(6) is reflected by reflecting layers(8,9).
