PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give priority to processing of a job not using a special paper discharging device in the case of paper being accumulated in the special paper discharging device of a sorter or the like for printing in the units of jobs or in the case of the special paper discharging device being out of use. SOLUTION: This printer 11 with a special paper discharging device 8 has an analytic part 2 for analyzing an input job to acquire a paper discharging device assigned by the job, and a judging part 3 for judging whether or not the job can be processed by this paper discharging device. A detecting part 9 detects whether paper is accumulated in the special paper discharging device 8. When a job using the special paper discharging device 8 is received by a receiving part 1 in the case of paper being accumulated in the special paper discharging device 8, processing of the job and receive processing are once suspended in response to the negative judgment of the judging part 3, and after this suspension, the other job is received, and only the job not using the special paper discharging device, that is, using a standard paper discharging device 5, is processed by a processing part 4. |
