PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device having a horn switch which is low in cost, and capable of easily setting the stroke to be constant between a membrane switch and a pad cover. SOLUTION: In an air bag device 10, a back-up plate 70 in which a leg part 76 is supported by a pad cover 32 through an engagement claw 94 of a locking member 84 is arranged on a crew side of a bag body 28 in a folded condition, and a membrane switch 40 is arranged on the back-up plate 70. A regulation wall 72 is erected on the back-up plate 70 toward the pad cover 32 side to regulate the dimension between the back-up plate 70 and the pad cover 32, i.e., the distance of a gap between the membrane switch 40 and the pad cover 32. Thus, the stroke from the pad cover 32 to the membrane switch 40 need not be considered during the assembly, the assembly man-hours can be reduced, and the cost can be reduced. |
