PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety when a selection switch is switched carelessly and to improve case of use in an electric cooker that is provided with a plurality of heat generation parts and allows the heat generation parts to conduct electricity individually by the selection switch. SOLUTION: A conduction state control means that switches the other heat generation part to non-conduction state when a selection switch 2 switches the other heat generation part to conduction state while one heat generation part is in conduction state and makes the one heat generation part return to the conduction state in the case that the switch 2 is made to return to the original state before a specific amount of time passes after the above switching, and a breaking means that maintains both heat generation parts in non- conduction state in response to a signal indicating that the switching state continues for a specific amount of time after the above switching are provided.
