PURPOSE: A power transmission shaft is provided to obtain enough bonding strength against the excessive torque and to maintain the reliability of the bonded part even for use for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A power transmission shaft like a tub formed by winding metal film, film, foil or thin-film by multiple layers is formed by:forming the lengthwise middle by only a fiber reinforced resin layer; forming the transition part between the middle part and the end part by the fiber reinforced resin layer and the metal layer; and forming the end part by the metal layer consists of the steel or the steel alloy. |
