PURPOSE: A hydraulic pressure shock absorber is provided to enlarge the capacity of a chamber communicated with a cylinder chamber of a reserving tub and an oil tank, and to make the space efficiency excellent. CONSTITUTION: The hydraulic pressure shock absorber(1) which is installed by a multi-tub structure having a cylindrical partition member(3) or a cylinder(4) inserted into an outer tub(2) having cylindrical bottom comprises:an outer case(2) having a small diameter part(2a), an intermediate diameter part(2b) and a large diameter part(2c)(an expansion part) formed to be expanded with its diameter sequentially from the lower part; a partition member(3) having an annular path(5) formed between itself and the outer case; and another annular path(6) formed between itself and a cylinder(4); a division member(7) fitted to other end of the partition member; and an oily liquid chamber(8) communicated to the annular path and formed between itself and the lower part of the outer case.
