PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound comprising a specific benzamide, effective for treating or preventing hemicrania, depression and other diseases requiring serotonin 1(5-HT1) receptor agonist or antagonist. SOLUTION: This compound is shown by formula I [R1 is a group of formula II (R6 is H or the like; R13 is a 1-4C alkyl cross-linking from one ring constituent carbon to the same or different ring constituent carbon or nitrogen or the like; (a) is 0-8) or the like; (m) is 0-4; X is H, a halogen or the like; R2 is (CH2)B ((t) is 0-3; B is H or the like); R3 to R6 are each H or the like] such as 3,4- dichloro-N-(2-[2-(4-methylpiperazine-1-yl)phenyl]ethyl)benzamide. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula III with a compound of the formula R4CH2NO2 in an organic solvent in the presence of a base to give a nitroalkene of formula IV, converting this compound into a compound of formula V by reduction and further reacting the intermediate of formula V with an acid anhydride of the formula (R2CO) -O- (COR14) (R14 is H or R2) or the like. |
