PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure a sufficient vent passage for avoiding a suffocation according to clogging of a cap in a throat by erroneously swallowing the cap by suppressing an increase in an outer diameter of an outer cap irrespective of a double cap structure of an inner cap and the outer cap to cover a barrel or a writing instrument or a toilet article using a point of a writing brush or a brush as a coating member. SOLUTION: The cap for the writing instrument, toilet article or the like comprises a double cap structure having an inner cap 8 in an outer cap 1 in such a manner that a vent hole 3 is opened at a top plate 2 of the cap 1, an axial venting groove 5 is provided from an opening side edge toward the plate 2 side at an inner surface of the cap 1, and a protruding strip 10 of a circumferential direction for inhibiting releasing of the cap 1 to be locked to a protrusion 9 provided on an inner surface of the cap 1 on an outer surface of the cap 8. Further, a venting cutout 12 for communicating the inside of the strip 10 with an outside is provided at the strip 10 of the cap 8. |
