PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent consumption of printing particles which may occur when printing particles each having an opposite polarity adhered to a print head are cleaned. SOLUTION: This printer comprises a cleaning means (a vacuum cleaner) 22 for cleaning printing particles 8' each having an opposite polarity adhered to a print head 15. Printing particles 8 on a printing particle holding means (a second roller) 6 is collected to a first roller 5 when the print head 15 is cleaned by means of the cleaning means 22 so that it is possible to prevent the printing particles 8 from flying toward the cleaning means 22. |
