PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit building and the assmbling method in which mutual beams of building units adjacently arranged vertically and laterally can be easily connected without providing an opening for installation of connecting plates and the field works can be reduced and the working efficiency can be improved. SOLUTION: Mutually adjacent beams 5A, 6A of building units 2, 3 provided with a parallelepiped frame body that both upper ends and both lower ends of columns 4 at the four corners are connected by the beams 5A, 6A, are held by clamping means 10 to connect them. Hence, the mutual beams of the building units can be easily connected without forming an opening for installing connecting plates, and further, since mutually adjacent beams may be only held by the clamping means, the field works are reduced and the-working efficiency can be improved.
