PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a bucket as to prevent the bucket from slipping out of a rotor in the case of a normal operation of setting in and out a sample, an inner cup, and the likes and to put a bucket in or out the rotor without using a special tool or apparatus. SOLUTION: In a centrifugal separation apparatus which is provided with a rotor 10 rotated by motive force, supporting pins 2 fixed in the rotor, and a plurality of buckets 6 for storing a sample in and attached to the supporting pins 2 in a manner that the buckets 6 are freely rotatable on the axes of the supporting pins 2 and which has a structure suitable for easily putting the respective buckets in and out the supporting pins 2, a protruding/retreating means 5 having a projected part capable of protruding and retreating from and into the supporting pint tip part is formed in each supporting pin 2 and a recessed part in which at least a part of the projected part fitted is formed in the outer face side of each bucket 6 and the protruding/retreating means 5 comprises an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the degree of the fitting of the projected part in the recessed part.
